Weekly Top 5

Apr 17, 2020 | Lifestyle, Shopping and Gift Guides

My weekly Top 5! May be real estate related, but probably not. Just a roundup of some of my favorite things. Happy Friday!

The new Magnolia Table cookbook came out this week! I have the first volume, and was so excited to add this to my collection. Let’s be honest, I REALLY don’t cook that often (ugh), but I love a pretty cookbook and the recipes I have tried are so good! Be sure to grab your copy today because on the Magnolia website, everything is 25% off and FREE shipping for purchases over $49 (with the code “celebrate”) to celebrate Jo’s birthday this weekend. I snagged my favorite candle scent, Linen, to stock up on. Happy cooking!

I got a lot of questions this week about my sweatshirt I was wearing in a post. I consider myself a true “homebody” at heart, and this sweatshirt from Propertee is so comfy and so appropriate for today’s current…..pandemic. As much as I pride myself on being a “homebody” I’m SO ready to go out again for random trips to Target, patio dining with my favorite people, working at coffee shops, and of course showing homes. Until that all can happen, I’ll enjoy wearing my “homebody” sweatshirt proudly….at home.

My *new* logo! Yay! I’m so excited for a brand “refresh” this year. Little softer, little more feminine, and of course, pink. I’m working on a whole new website/blog look as well and I can’t WAIT to share with you what I’ve been working on. *Spoiler Alert* In addition to real estate agent, I’ll be adding some design services, too. STAY TUNED!

Wellllll, we were supposed to be heading out in two weeks for our Disney Cruise in the Caribbean, but, as you can imagine, that was cancelled. We are SO bummed as we were so looking forward to a family vacation. If I could go anywhere right now, it would definitely be the beach, if they were open, of course. A friend of a friend owns this super cute beach home rental in 30A in the Florida panhandle and I will definitely be booking a stay! As a short-term rental vacation home owner as well, I know we’re all feeling the pinch of this since we are not allowed to do rentals on our homes, at least through April. I’m hoping to support as many short-term rental owners as much as I can. Hope you consider doing so, too, when traveling this year! Here’s the link to book this cute home (and guess what, it comes with a golf cart to get around the beach town-so fun!)

With the weather getting warmer (well, sort of, in between the snow blizzards we are experiencing here in Denver!), I’m getting excited to GET OUTSIDE, and that has me thinking about patio decorating. A cute front doormat is always an easy way to spruce up your front porch. This “Hello” doormat is on my list to add to my front porch (at the new house, of course!). This website has lots of option for scute front door mats.
